Springfield Exit was created by three veteran musicians who bring with them a rich variety of experiences. Their music is decidedly their own, with influences of bluegrass, country and traditional folk.

Formed in late 2002 by David and Linda Lay along with David McLaughlin, Springfield Exit came together to create a CD for the Cracker Barrel® record label as part of their Heritage Music Series.
